It is all true. Dodds tried to bring three other schools with him, and extend the PAC. He "guaranteed" the other schools would follow. A&M said thanks, but no thanks and began looking at other options ... Colorado, who was on the outside looking in, just took the PAC invite first and short-circuited everything. Nebraska took off for the B1G.

Whole deal fell apart, and Texas was forced to attempt to hold the BDF together to save face. As punishment, Texas made all BDF teams agree not to play A&M in order to "punish" us for not falling in line when we did leave. OU just did what Texas wanted, because they have no balls ...

Why don’t we just kick out posters that start threads that get 50 down votes?

Should get rid of A&M/Mizzou/OU/Texas. Then your TV contract will suck again, and you can all be poor in peace
Newsflash the SEC was doing just fine before we added all those schools and would be fine without them, remember all your big TV contracts did not save the big 12. all those schools came scrambling to the SEC because of what the Poor arse SEC had done without any of those schools.

Its about fit and right now A&M is a complete non-fit in the SEC, Even with all the big money

I would be perfectly fine with that. At least we wouldn't have to deal with LSU or Texas. That is a win any day of the week

I’m sure the majority of the SEC would be fine with it to

How about nobody and keep the piles of cash, the national football bragging rights and incredible competition?
Huh? How about that?

No, its a TexAgs fever dream narrative from your fantasy 2012 season, where all aggy dreams were realized and you finally stuck it to mean ol tu.
10 years later, you've accomplished frick-all and everyone hates you here, as well.

I hope not everyone feels this way. I’ve enjoyed the SEC and think we fit in. Passionate fans, similar politics and values. Compared to other conferences this is probably the most fitting one.

I think it was more of a "frick you" to Texas.

They tried to broker a deal to break up the BDF and bring four schools to the PAC.

A&M said "nah", and joined the SEC instead.

BTW, that conference-killing mentality is what you idiots invited into the conference.

They will not be happy with even shares and being just another school. They think they should run everything because "They're Texas". You have no idea of the snake you invited in.

All of this is true.

Auburn and Tennessee.

Those states are only big enough to support the SEC big brother programs. Let Auburn and Tennessee flourish in the AAC.
