Sociologically it's really telling. Maybe it's the privilege of being a Texan and the only state who gained independence through a revolution and was our own nation, but I just can't fathom ever wrapping our identity into a shared one with a bunch of inferior schools, people, states and economies.

And your contribution to that is farting in the bathtub while biting the bubbles and typing this crap.

You’re a texas legend.

Delusions of grandeur texans. Never lifted a finger to contribute to what they brag about inheriting.

I understand you want to leave the union of The United States, do it as quickly as possible, now.

We will hold our nose and join the SEC for the marginal gains in value (money and the perceived "prestige" as discussed over the last 27 pages here), but make no mistake about it-- as soon as the marriage of convenience stops being convenient, we will move on to the next better situation.

Until then and for the foreseeable future, we can all get along through a shared disrespect and disgust of A&M and we can show some professional courtesy to our peer blue bloods.

You middle and lower pack teams, we are cool, just don't talk to us in public.

again, I keep asking why you think this is the case and you refuse to answer? Like I said: I think you’re using words that you don’t know the definition of

Are all sec fanbases this stupid? I mean, I know most of your schools have a pathetic academic reputation, but this is staggering

The Big 12 is ruined. We both know that. You feel awkward about it because you know Texas’ reputation as a shitty conference member. So, you can tell yourself the lie that Texas didn’t ruin the Big 12. No one believes it. Carry on apace.

Explain how it wasn't Nebraska who ruined the Big 12.

Explain how Nebraska leaving the B12 didn't ruin it, but Texas not leaving the B12 ruined it.

Ooooooh can’t wait to hear this one. What did big bad meanie Texas do? You do know that a&m, Nebraska, Missouri and other teams that eventually defected (and also the ones that complain the loudest) voted in step with Texas throughout their tenure in the big 12, right? It’s public record.

Lol so Texas did exactly what 4 teams that were in the big 12 did before it (leave and join another league), but now it’s Texas’ fault?

Somebody’s been slurping the aggies a bit too much lately

I’m gathering that Texas ruined the Big12 because we left, leaving no other big market teams in the Big12. They had to pull in a bunch of PAC 12 schools and still can’t even replace us.

Idk man. Sounds more like a compliment than an insult.

This is a ridiculous stance. Even if we were to grant your premise (which, to be clear, I don't) it's not The University of Texas at Austin's job to manage the conference and make sure it's healthy and growing/thriving, flagship school in the conference or not.

To blame a school for destroying a conference, especially when that conference still exists and is adding teams and will compete in the sport of college football in the NCAA next year and beyond, is extremely lazy and stupid.

Now, if you want to argue that Texas is so valuable and influential in her power (e.g. money, media, people/alumni, and ecosystem) that when Texas acts in her own best interest and bend the gravity to our favor then lesser schools throw a tantrum and cry about how unfair it is that big bad Texas is exerting that power, then I can agree.

But that's not destroying a conference, that's just being better than the conference-mates, which everyone knows was the case. It was Texas/OU as Snow White and the rest of the conference as little Dwarves. And Dwarves don't have a big footprint last I heard.

It's our fault that Nebraska committed college football suicide (dead to never be relevant again, likely) because we made them do it. It's not their fault for pulling the trigger, it's ours for upsetting them so much they had no choice.

Sheesh

Yes but it's complicated.... Armenians are most like Greeks and Georgians and are indigenous to the Caucuses making them more Caucasian than most claiming to be Caucasian. They also share genetic markers with the Levant. They're a unique group. But they're mostly white folks with a little flavor.

Also, IDK why we're even talking about Armenians.

The PAC. Nebraska announced their move to the B1G in June 2010. How did that not ruin the conference? Nebraska can leave outright but Texas isn't allowed to look at our options?

Their “upper tier” missouri also needed a record breaking FG to beat Big 12 middle of the pack K State at home.

But hey, their Florida/South Carolina/Tennessee could win the Big 12! Wreck shite!
