In 2007, #1 Missouri faced OU in the Big XII championship game (OU had already beat Missouri in the regular season). There were pundits (not necessarily Mizzou ones) who suggested OU throw the contest in order for Mizzou to play in the BCS championship since OU already had 2 losses. Of course OU had other ideas 38-17.
