Remember, Tennessee will come in claiming people from other states

And also remember, there's no good music from Louisiana or Texas

The Great State of Georgia may have something to say about that. Allman Bros., James Brown, Widespread Panic, Otis Redding and tons of others. Any DAWGS have that Georgia map of bands/singers?

For my state:

How about Hank Williams SR?
How about Nat King Cole?
How about Jimmy Buffet?
How about Bo Bice?
How about Emmylou Harris?
How about Lionel Richie and the Commodores?

This may not be as easy for Arkansas as you think.

Kidding on the Bo Bice.

Mississippi has Elvis, BB King, and even Britney Spears by birth. That alone makes them a huge contender. They also probably have 100 old blues men nobody even knows anymore that basically laid the backbone for modern music.

I just want to point out that besides Lynyrd Skynyrd and Tom Petty, Florida has produced absolute trash like:

Half of Florida Georgia Line
Limp Bizkit
Vanilla Ice
Flo Rida
Pitbull

All off of the top of my head

Add in Jimmy Buffet, Faith Hill, Conway Twitty, Charlie Pride, and the list gets even stronger.
