You’re literally making shite up. Lower leg? Like what his ankle?
This is how people are now. Pictures have been shown, quite literally, with him down from knee to foot. Yet, "show me". Stupid fricking questions without answers, because the answer has been shown to you.
You, and an entire mentality of fans, are making a statement that is equivalent to "I don't understand the facts in front of me". That's not a virtue. That's purposeful, mule-headed stubborn horse shite. Its not intellectually honest.
Look at the damn picture. He's down. Its easy to understand.

The damn picture shows space between his leg and the ground.
I know you’re upset but damn, man. You’re not going to convince anyone that matters that his leg was down.
It was incomplete and you’re just gonna have to live with it. I know it’s hard, but you gotta try

This is a sad look
Everyone needs to just put this guy in the Willy T tier of shite posters and move on.

And that's all it is. A shite call, that went their way. But they can't own it.
Why ? Two reasons, honestly. One, they can't bend their stiff arse, prideful necks enough to even consider that they got a break.
Two - they sure as shite can't admit that maybe, just maybe, the breaks have went their way more than not.
Damn it, I'm getting really irritated defending frigging Austin, Texas.

It was called as it should’ve been. I know it’s hard to accept for y’all but his leg wasn’t down as much as you want it to be and get all the microscopes out you need but there’s a gap between his leg and the turf

15 penalties to 5 but yeah we caught the most breaks
I love the threads these close wins generate lol

Section 3 article 2 (page 84) has the rule
page 191 has all the interpretations
VIII is probably the one you want? Nothing specifically mentions deflections, just the general spirit of the rule. If #0 isn't there, that ball is going straight in the dirt and nowhere near an eligible receiver. Seems like a violation of the rule to me

By your logic the Texas player isn't touching the ground either because there's a shadow under him.

Yeah I read the rulebook too. You can't tell intent when the ball is deflected. It would have been better for us had roughing the pass been called correctly. I'm fine with either.

Yes, you did. One team was grabbing face masks once or twice every series. One team was not.
This is the same shite that basketball fans say ... well, if the fouls are even, everything worked out, right ?
No. Sometimes, one team really needs to be penalized two, three, or more times than the other. I didn't see Texas players ripping face masks on repeated tackles.

It's not like Alabama got the only break on that call. They took back an official ruling that's not supposed to be reviewable several minutes after the fact because "we said it wrong" ... Texas also got a break with the take-back of a call ineligible for take-backs

His upper back is not touching the ground correct. How big do you think Bryce’s calves are dude
Posted on 9/11/22 at 6:31 pm to MackDaddyBrown
#2 McLellan is standing right at the goal line. Ball could’ve easily landed where in his vicinity
We’ll never know because the #0 came in trying to take Bryce’s head off and deflected the ball
Thanks #0 I owe you a beer (if you’re of age)

1. I dunno if you actually did read the rulebook, otherwise why post wikipedia stuff?
2. You can tell that Bryce was just trying to fling the ball to avoid the safety which is against the spirit of the rule.
3. Can you post the part of the rulebook where it'd have been ruled roughing the passer?
