Something about not being able to see the forest for the trees. To put it another way, if not for instant replay, this would (correctly) be called a safety 100 out of 100 times.

The only way this could have been called a safety was in real time, or with a review on the spot.

It was never called a safety on the field from what I remember.

GOOD CALL...

What is the rule for hand or wrist on the ground?

It used to be hand touches the ground, player is down. Then they changed it to wrist had to touch the ground to be down. Then I think they changed it to neither hand nor wrist constitutes the player being down.

What is the ruling now? Because clearly his wrist was touching the ground (IMO his legs never touched the ground).

Bank shot off his right calf to #2!

Weird, I was under the impression he had like 24” calves according to the analysis of multiple ppl in this thread

Given how skinny they look here, I feel even more confident his leg was not down in previous pictures

Really enjoying the melts btw keep em coming

So, you're saying he was standing up?

My latest one is a pull behind. 30' - Grand Design. I'm a big fan of travel trailers. Of course, I grew up in a trailer park. Might just be me getting back to my roots.

Looked at it close. That looks pretty close to the last trailer I pulled with my last half ton truck. Just depends on how you want to use it. Its pretty close to the floor plan on ours.

It's perfect and affordable for me and the dog. When the GF and kid come along, it'll shrink up a bit. Good starter though. Best floor plan they have by far IMO.

I just now watched the full play at full speed and slow-mo for the first time, and holy shite

1. Bryce Young was 100% down. His entire shin is all the way up to his knee was on the ground, long before he even started his throwing motion let alone got rid of the ball. Safety.

2. Longhorns player #0 is at a full sprint towards Young with his hands up in order to deflect any potential pass. He gets to Young in the endzone and dives over him with his hands out.

"But but but he nearly took Young's helmet almost halfway off! Clearly roughing the passer!"

If THAT is roughing the passer, then any time a QB is simply touched or grazed by a defender counts too. #0 literally DOVE OVER Young in order to avoid hitting him and causing an *actual* penalty. He did everything right that he possibly could in order to NOT rough the passer but still make a play. That is what every referee in football wants (supposedly)

It's funny to me that the Bama fans are the only ones defending this. "We just have superior football intellect that nobody else on earth could possibly possess, guys. It's totally not because we're biased obviously."

I hate that I'm having to defend Texas here, I despise them as much as anyone. But that shite was a blatant shitty call, I'm not sure why it's so hard to just own up to it. It's not like the game can be overturned now.

HOWEVER, Texas still had all the chances in the world to win that game despite the shitty call and couldn't get it done. It's still a loss where they couldn't capitalize on a messy Bama in a hostile environment.

Whop. Whop. Whop. Whop. Whop.

Its just a couples trailer. Me, the old lady I've married to for a couple decades, and a couple dawgs.

Like I said, its like I'm trying to get back to the trailer park. It is nicer than a hotel. Just because I know where all my stuff is.

I didn't spend 5k on loudspeakers to listen to football talking heads. (not to mention a a music collection of well over 3,000 albums and 40,000 individual hi-res songs.)

I had to give up the beer because of gout. I drink Titos Vodka and club soda now.

I live in the Houston area, so I doubt it. I'm a native of Alabama, but Texans are pretty friendly and they like to party. Come on down!

You're gonna have to trade down from Grand Design to do that. I don't know much, but they're supposed to be the best. Enjoy it.

Write it down. I work in power plants around Houston and such, for projects. I'm gonna' do a road trip to Austin or Houston, just for fun. One time, we got cheap hotels in Kemah. That was outstanding.

And I know its in Oklahoma - but I've wanted to drag my crap and do the Knoxville thing. I just ought to do it. I think I will.

Huh? Are you suggesting the refs just lie about the call to help out UTx? Because that is exactly what they did.

I'm suggesting they misspeak if it prevents egregious outcomes.

They're still just trailers. Ain't not of them an investment. But they're fun, if that's what you like to do.

No shite ? We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express there. Which was pretty damn nice.

And the bars. And the shops. And the marinas. You could just walk around there, beer in hand in a cup, and shoot the shite and such. It was cool. Big fan of Kemah. Maybe they weren't a big fan of Kentucky rednecks - but they all seemed nice about it.
