The real secret is Kirby overpaid recruits to kick start things. Great strategy that is paying dividends.

These seem to be all of the 3 stars that were drafted under Kirby.

DeAndre Baker
Solomon Kindley
Tae Crowder
Eric Stokes
Tre McKitty (transfer)
Jordan Davis
Jake Carmada
Justin Shaffer
Stetson Bennett (transfer)

Ladd McConkey was either a 3 or lower. He has been spectacular
I’m still trying to learn the names of all the new talent - UGA has played practically everyone on the bench this season - but that Mews guy from Gwinnett Co and another player, a RB who is blowing everyone’s mind are both reportedly walk ons. They are the real deal. Kirby has a real knack for finding diamonds in the rough, making them stars and putting them in the NFL

of course. We have a lot of them though, which stands out even more considering the myriad high 4* and 5* elite players we also have. Going back to 2018 here are some notable 3* we've had:

Chris Smith, Jordan Davis, Kenny McIntosh, Stetson Bennett, Diajun Edwards, Ladd Mcconkey, AD Mitchell, Chaz Chambliss, Javon Bullard, Dillon Bell

Every one of those guys with the possibile exception of Bell (who is from the '22 class but a current starter) has made a massive impace in one form or another on national championship winning teams. All of them have started and some for multiple years

I'm just saying that isn't really unique. Any really good team has quite a few 3 stars who are playing at a high level.

The 25% of 3 stars being drafted is much more impressive if it's true.

It doesn't sound like it could be true until you consider that the majority of our recruits are 4 and 5 stars.
We may put in a couple more 3 stars into the draft than other very good teams, but our total sum of 3 star recruits could be measurably less.
That is the only explanation in my head.

This is probably true. Considering 4% for other programs which I assume is an average across the board that could actually pretty good for a program that is small that only recruits a handful of 3 stars and the rest are lower.

Kirby at UA recruited 3-star defensive guys that got drafted as well.

Maybe, maybe not.

The two people who are saying it's true are both Georgia homers and you lie a lot.

Per 247 rankings you are missing:
Monty Rice
Christopher Smith II
Riley Ridley
Kenny McIntosh

I count 47 3 star recruits for Kirby with 13 NFL draft picks (27.6%).

And the 2020 recruiting class had Devon Willock, Daijun Edwards, Ladd McConkey (3 out of 5 probable NFL draft picks from the class)

Sorry, didn't specify. I was using the 247 Composite.

I know. And I typically use that.

But when using Google for " recruit name, 247 recruiting", the 247 ranking is on the profile (not the composite).

I don't know who Graham was using. Google definitely makes 247 easier for a quick lookup.

I didn't realize Javon Bullard was a 3*.

Whoever grades DB's at 247 is a moron.

Thanks for AD Mitchell, dudes a stud at Texas so far.

That is impressive that they have developed that many 3 stars into NFL prospects.

I wish AD well. He wanted to be near his child. And all the NIL money Texas promised him didn’t hurt either.

The biggest loss for Todd Monken may not be the playcalling but the talent evaluations for offense.

Ladd McConkey
AD Mitchell
Dillon Bell
Mekhi Mews
Cash Jones

For a guy who doesn't like to recruit, he cherry picked a ton of guys who showed up to work out with our staff.

I just looked up Georgia draft history on 247 so it shows every pick by year and their composite ranking.

Makes it super easy.

Bull
Fricking
Shite

You make things up on this board on a regular basis, now whether you actually believe those things or if you're trying to troll are two different matters altogether.

I’ve been attending UGA games since I could walk. I’ve seen a lot and know a lot about UGAs rivals. There is plenty there. No reason to lie about anything.
