Good think LSU didn't nickname themselves the "Tigers" after a confederate regiment. Oh wait, that's exactly what they did...

Also they never had purple and gold Dixie flags that said fighting tigers on them either

The Rebels part isn’t the problem. Talking about the Ole Miss part and why your roster isn’t aware of it. $$$ or not, I’d be fleeing to LSU.

So the "Ole Miss" nickname is a problem but the "Tiger" nickname isn't? Why? I would love to hear you explain this one. Please explain why "Tiger" being confederate if totally not a problem.

LSU rebranded to Tigers, even leaving the LSU Agricultural & Mechanical College on their degrees. Talk about priorities.

But you have someone like Lacy wearing “enslaved mistress” on his helmet. Like someone in another thread mentioned, your only option is to rebrand to the New Miss Land Sharks at his point before the words gets out.

Exactly. They rebranded to a Confederate regiment. Thank you for proving my point.

Like talking to a wall. The one that you’re going to be facing in the next decade when playing LSU.

He achieved what he could there, nowhere to go but down, so he left so that the falloff would be blamed on someone else. He is a chickenshit at his core.

If you get a better opportunity compared to your current job, why not take it? Les (still love him for his personality and quirks), Ed O can get it done, why not Lane? Lane is more tactical than either to say the least, let alone someone who can secure the boot especially in the NIL era when marketing and social media mean so much.

Honestly feel like even Kelly could have got it done if he was likeable and motivated enough to attract a legit OC. Ended up needing two junior OCs, hoping one would turn out well.

So what's year 1 expectations with the $4mil QB? 10-2? Playoffs? Y'all have spent a ton on this roster so I would assume the fans want a good return..

10-2 still gets LSU into the playoffs. That, and liquidating what’s left on OM’s roster next year would be a good start.

So a 9-3 season would be below expectations?

The lack of self awareness some LSU fans have is mind blowing.
