I suppose you just want to ignore the recruiting battles we won in this class
Also this isn't Alabama or LSU. The school doesn't do half the recruiting for you. If you think the recruiting base is equal then you are kidding yourself.
But you're just an awful alter so I know you know all of this already.

I agree with you in every way

Ok, then offer a solution as to how he is supposed to consistently land 5*'s right now. We have a solid class this year, but apparently our class is absolute garbage according to you.
You remind me of a child expecting a trophy because your mother told you you're unique and special, and you deserve it, without ever having to actually work for anything.

Brings up some excellent points, but it seems some Rebs have a hard time with the truth of reality.

One of the great oddities of the Ole Miss fan culture is that all failures are blamed on previous coaches and the current coach, whoever it is, is worshipped.....until he is gone and then he becomes the reason for all the failures of the coach that succeeds him.
This allows people to go on tolerating mediocrity indefinitely and prevents any kind of serious accountability of the sort that you see at most other SEC programs.....which is why the mediocrity has continued for 4 decades and counting......and the OP is a perfect example of that.....
this is accurate IMO
in fairness a lot of fans of other programs are guilty of similar inconsistencies

This is why Ole Miss and State are viewed differently. Ole Miss is trying to become respectable. State is trying to become Ole Miss.

BOTH a deep-seated inferiority complex and being delusional exist AT THE SAME TIME.
Is it fair to paraphrase your opinion like this: Ole Miss fans have unrealistically high expectations that aren't high enough. If not, please clarify.

Over/under on black bear false starts at Kyle in 2014.

I have found over the years that fans of other SEC teams understand perfectly well all my points, as you see in this thread.
The only ones who "don't get it" are Ole Miss fans, themselves.....and I personally think it is due in part to the state of Mississippi's negative view of itself, even vis-a-vis neighboring states.
Mississippians have grown up seeing their state ridiculed not only by the rest of the country, but also by other Southerners ("Thank God for Mississippi") to such an extent that they have internalized the idea that the state cannot succeed at anything--which then becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
It really is a sad spectacle.

Lsu, Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia, Florida all have louder stadiums than A&M.
12th man is overrated, sorry.
