I always have little chuckle at the Cocktail Party when those stupid Georgia rednecks don't realize their band is playing a Yankee civil war tune.

Maybe Tiger Band should do a salute to LSU's founder William Tecumseh Sherman when we play Georgia. They can do a reenactment of Shermans March to the Sea through Georgia.

There's nothing cool about Sherman or his march.

Actually, in fairness to Sherman he was not as evil as history has often portrayed him. Yes, some of the Union troops did some horrible things but so did some of the Southern troops.
Now, I was just making a joke about how I want LSU to beat the royal crap out of Georgia, okay.

LSU beating both Georgia and Florida would be a good thing.

Still remember that '97 victory over the Gators.

Besides the daily 12 hours of practice, no. After our night practice we would go to the Pasttime and get drunk only to have to sweat it out the next morning at practice. I look back and don't know how I did all that drinking and managed to make it to practice without throwing up.

It really depends on the drum major. Last years didn't play it nearly as much as the previous years.

I loved Rocky Top until I actually went to a game there. Are you serious? Play it after a TD...not everytime the clock stops.

that being said, band coming to the players practice is awesome. as much as i dispise ole miss, playing dixie in the grove is one of my favorite football traditions.
