NFL GMs look at it differently than we fans do.

Hell, the fact that Harbaugh was fired and the next day 7 teams contacted him allegedly wanting to talk to him.....defies logic to me.

So yeah, I do think a few teams have interest in Sark. Could be wrong...not going to shed tears if he stays or goes.

But on the other hand it’s non-stop roster management/retention management/salary management, etc.

I'd think most programs have a GM with an entire department in the AD tasked with roster management. There's no way the coaching staff can maneuver this along with their actual job of "coaching" a team.

For cause? Like what?

Are y’all going to pull all of his skeletons out of the closet now that it’s officially been over 20 years since UTranny won something?

Everyone bitches about NIL.....the portal is what's killing CFB.
What do you think entices the players to the portal

Because players aren’t going just to enjoy the scenery in Lubbock, Texas.

Although I do see your point, players are essentially perpetual free agents.

I don't see him leaving on his own just yet, still something to prove record-wise I think.

As for horns in the portal I am surprised at the number but maybe I spend too much time reading what the Kool-Aid drinkers on Surly think as opposed to SEC Rant where the Texas posters are more grounded.

If you step back and look at any program it appears the bottom is dropping out but all those kids in the portal have to land somewhere so really all we are seeing is a college football version of musical chairs.
