The problem is when you put it online you've already made it public. However, I don't think news agencies should bother reporting the tweets of 14 year olds once they become famous. Everyone says stupid shite at that age.

I just can’t believe it’s being labeled as a scandal. I’m sorry I don’t know how to link but I just googled it to see what he said in what context and the article I read said it was a “scandle”. A fourteen year old saying queer is a scandle in 2018 america. It’ll only get worse too.

Exactly. And I've yet to meet an adult who has gotten upset over what someone famous said at 14. These reporters are just writing whatever is handed to them without thought because the need for content outweighs quality.
In terms of news we haven't created a PC society but rather an anything goes society. I really don't care if Beyonce's baby laid down his first rap tune or whatever the hell the Kardashian's are doing but you're going to feed me that headline because Google's webcrawler indexes sites by the hour and you need something new.
I love technology but we're letting it rule us rather than be a tool for us.
