That's not a gotcha, LSU's defense IIRC was on the field for 84 plays that game, I don't care how great or deep a defense may be, if you're on the field that much, you're going to be gassed by the end, period. In spite of LSU's offensive ineptitude and all that, they still only surrendered 24 points and almost won the game. I can't see a scenario where Gunner and Co are that inept offensively to make a defense like Georgia's that gassed. Give y'all credit, y'all executed and completed 2 14-play TD drives but UGA's offense recovered and came to play as well but I expect UGA's offense to perform way better than LSU's in this matchup.

Our football team is trending up. Most of the fans are still basking in the absolute most dominant run in college football history.
Beating uga is expected but it is still fun. Any time you can make Kirby's arrogant arse stand at the post gsme presser and lie his arse off about not caring about his record vs BAMA is as hilarious as it is delicious. But there are several reasons to be proud of BAMA that doesn't involve uga one bit.
We own LSU.
We own barn.
We own uga. All of those are true.
But if you think beating uga is something any BAMA fan is thinking about more than Vandy right now you have shite for brains as bad as Kirby does when he is coaching vs BAMA.

Is that why last seasoned played out the way it did? This Vandy team is definitely better than last year's Vandy team.

No one is "sleeping" on anybody. Do you think Vanderbilt's secondary is as talented as UGA's? If the answer is yes then yeah, you believe they have a shot at shutting down our passing game. If the answer is no, then odds are Vandy is going to struggle doing to our WR's what UGA did in the second half.
I don't think Vandy's secondary or LB's are as good as UGA's, so I think they will have a hard time "shutting out" Alabama's offense for entire half. Is that overlooking? LOL!

No. It's been noted. BAMA lost the turnover battle and Vandy was +14 points off turnovers. You can see that, right? You understand the implications of that?
Of course, if BAMA turns the ball over this season the game could end like it did last season. However, both of those turnovers were on the qb last season. He isn't the problem any longer.
BAMA, as poorly as they played last season, still had opportunities to win that game. People on here pretend that it was a three score game or some shite. It wasn't.
BAMA is a better team this season as well.
Tell you what. The spread is BAMA -12. How confident in that are you? Have you bet your mortgage on Vandy this week?

Let's be real: as substandard as Bama's defense is against talented run games/running QBs and rushing the passer, their best defense this season is their offense with Ty being methodical and surgical with his passing and taking care of the ball, all about complimentary football. As much as I want Vanderbilt to take Bama down again, I think Bama's complimentary football passing offense and home field will carry the day against Diego and Co.

You are asking why fans are proud of BAMA and are recalcitrantly suggesting it is because BAMA beats uga.
Now you're trying to suggest why BAMA should be embarrassed. That is a different subject.
What you should be asking yourself instead is:
If those coaches you listed can beat BAMA, why can't your coach who is the highest paid coach in college football do it?

I think Vandy is better than FSU, so I don't get what point yall are trying to make about Vandy and uga? uga has had better teams than bama and keep losing.

The flaw in your logic is you're making the assumption that college football is static. That nothing has changed about teams since week 1. So it's your belief that what you see out of teams in week 1 will be what and who they are the rest of the season? So you're saying Bama hasn't improved at all since the FSU game?
