ND has a very, very good football team this year, if not elite. Among the nations best on the OL and DL... Good strong running game and what they needed most, a darn good QB in Sam Hartman.... I don't think they will lose another game this season which includes Duke, USC and Clemson.

Ohio State is Ohio State..... Their big question mark was QB, but I think they found their man... Very, very good defense.

Which says a lot about how bad this season has been thus far. Ohio State did not look impressive at all last night and were lucky to sneak by an above average Notre Dame team.

Hartman has looked pretty legit. I was impressed with Ohio St's defense.

They have to get it figured out offensively though. Too much talent to be that mediocre.

The teams with the most impressive resumes so far are, in no particular order, Utah, Penn St., Florida St., Texas, Washington St., Oregon.

Good wins (on the road) and/or pass the eye test, but still mostly played a soft schedule: Washington, Miami, Ohio State.

Undefeated but TBD: Oklahoma, UNC, GA, MI, USC. Duke, Kansas, Missouri don’t have the horses.
