Don't all coaches say that shite though? "I gotta do what is best for me and my family." This is a great opportunity for me and my family etc etc.

I have no dog in the fight, and couldn't care less why he left. I was just pointing out that there is a suspicious pattern when he leaves schools.

It's a well known fact that he rarely stays at a school long and follows talent. It sounds like his reasoning for leaving Brookhaven is legit. I'm just not sure about the previous times before that (ie. Heritage, Pillow, etc.) He left those schools when the talent level got thin.

I'm just joking, bro. I just like to flame the Delta on here and give y'all a hard time.

Herbert has a huge shed there.

Fidel, were you at Pillow when there was huge recruiting battle between y'all and Jackson Academy for a QB from Winona Christian with the initials J.G?

LA football is ten times better than MS football and that really isn't debatable.

we had three LSU signees and four players make their roster at my high school just in 2006 and we're not some powerhouse. that happens at South Panola and it's declared team of the century. we have a lot of talent in the private schools and they get better coaching.

This thread makes me miss HS football. Those were good days. The day we beat Leake Academy in the 1st round 36 -22 when they were #1 in the state was the most fun I've ever had in a football game. It went down as the biggest upset in IA history

I'd like to see USP and Evangel Christian play each other.

I remember that. North AA football is where pussies play. The real teams are in the south.

back in the day that would have been a good match up. Evangel's teams are a lot smaller and less talented since they moved from 5A football.

North Delta has had some good teams and Simpson actually was in the North for a while.
