No completely different story. I know him personally. His mom was in bad health when he left Pillow and he is from Brookhaven.

I know, just same "family related" type of story. I don't know him that well, I played under him at Pillow very shortly then transferred to IA because I liked it better over there.
Anyways I'm not saying Davis is lying about some of his family issues, but it does seem to be an obvious pattern. Always leaving for family reason, and just happens to show up at a school loaded with talent.
