His halftime interview was greatness. Why the frick did Long think that was going to be a good move?

It seemed good in theory b/c Smith had been our special teams coach for the last few years, he's coached with just about all of this staff already, he has 16 years head coaching experience, the players like him, and it would allow our two coordinators to keep full focus on their duties. We thought we had all the pieces for a championship run and didn't want to bring in a new HC from the outside (our options were limited anyway at the time) who would bring a new coaching staff and playbook. With John L, we kept our systems in place.

SO GLAD I'm not the only one that has cried over football. That was a first and I was embarrassed the next day.

One must assume that someone close to JLS loaded him up on thorazine before he interviewed and Long thought he was just tired from jet lag

If I hadn't been in the Hospice that night I would have burned something to the ground. There is no word in the English language to describe how pissed I was.

Yeah, either Jeff Long is terrible at evaluating mental competence or John L was able to act "normal" just long enough to get the job.

I was still pissed the next day. When I woke up the next morning I was hoping it was a bad dream. I refused to watch tv or read anything until the next day, at least.

I was to pissed to even go to the store for what I would see on the cover of all the news papers. Made me sick, or it was the hospital air. Either one.

I wanted to hibernate.

Every time I talked to my mom she started bitching about Lee not playing. I was miserable.

I hope John L. has a want to be the long term answer at Arkansas and I look forward to some distinctive matchups in the future.

I am glad my mother was on Dilaudid and couldn't even separate reality for dream. If the Cancer didn't kill her the game would have. Her last words would have been "What is that dumbass doing?"

He's gonna wish he never took this job, Arkansas fans are gonna ruin his life. I'm sure the Plane and Banners are next and ads in the paper.
