the real myth is LSU football

I remember LSU also losing 2 of there 3 big match-ups against top ranked teams. Hell lets say 2 out of 2 since A&M's success is a "myth"

Texas A&M has been so bad in football it makes last year look speical to them.

LSU and Bama would be disappointed if they had the same exact season.

Remember how pumped Ole Miss fans were after they won 2 cotton bowls and finished in the top 10? It's the same thing with Texas A&M.

New coach. New big bad conference. Fr QB. I'd say we exceeded expectations just a bit. No one gave us a chance in hell to have a > .500 season. Love shitty threads like this after the fact. Effin double standard.

When LSU goes 11-2 (including a blowout win in their bowl game), beats the national champion, and has a player win the Heisman, you get back to me about how that wasn't a very special season.

I'll wait...

IT's hard for someone to act like they have been there before...when they have notbeen there before. This success is new to them and they don't know how to act or handle it. Last season was only the 12th time, they won 10 or more games and first time since 1998. They have had 4 losing seasons in between those two seasons. It has been a while since they had anything to crow about so this is not unexpected.

Holee shite! Really that's your argument. Matter of fact, we did it in 2011, 2007, 2003 oh and wait I seem to recall us whipping the Aggies the last two times we faced them. I will take a NC over a Heisman any day

These are the one I really like.

Its amazing how 13 teams in a conference can give proper respect to one of the toughest places to win...and one team who couldn't even win at home acts like this.

I don't think anybody is scared of that defense...including the Red Stick crew who has an offense nobody is card of...

It sucks knowing you lost your 3 toughest games, doesn't it?

Most Aggies understand this, myself included. I couldn't give less of a frick about your recognition however. If A&M gets to Atlanta, the rantards will just make excuses and make fools out of themselves even more.

Here are the excuses:

1. schedule was too easy
2. LSU wore down our opponents for us
3. o-line was so good it was unfair
4. Johnny should have been suspended for going to bars and not giving a frick what people think about him.
5. we got lucky with the Sumlin hire
6. our offense creates an unfair advantage and is destroying the game of football
7. jizz jars and shite
8. yell leaders are ghey

Agsessed.

Let me explain it to you, tier 3.

They were playing as well, or better, than any team in the nation at year's end. Nobody cares about tie breakers in the SEC and whether we finished 3rd or 5th. People only look at year-end rankings. And we ended top 5. While LSU lost to an ACC basketball league team and Florida to a Big East team.

Also won the Heisman and has the most electric player in CF, and the most widely covered and stalked player in CF history.

Pretty simple.

They haven't seen it live. TV only gives half the justice it deserves.

If La Tech had had so much as a high school defense, they'd have beaten the Aggies in Shreveport.

And if TAM had caught Bama any week other than after that game they barely escaped LSU, they'd have lost that one too.

Manziel wouldn't have a Heisman, and nobody would be talking about TAM like they're the seventies Dallas Cowboys.

This year will make that perfectly clear.
