Way to not read all of my comments.

As I said, Georgia will likely win the East whether they beat LSU or not.

But a loss to LSU will pretty much eliminate Georgia from the national title race and likely cement your legacy as the Buffalo Bills of the SEC East.

Of that group, only Bama and LSU are not in "must-win" situations as far as their national title hopes are concerned. Bama, LSU and Georgia are all in a position where a loss wouldn't destroy their SEC title hopes. A Florida loss to UK wouldn't eliminate them, but it would mean they are nowhere near good enough to win the SEC East or overall title.

Alabama is in the best position right now because they only have one game left to play and they don't even have to win it. They already accomplished all they ever need to do to win the NC; they've at least split their two games.

Georgia is in the next best position, having two games left and only needing a split to win the East, but they need to win both to have a shot at the NC.

Again i say a loss to "LSU" has nothing to do with the drivers seat in the east. He said it will put us firmly in the drivers seat. in the conference, YES, in the east, NO.

And werent you the one just yesterday who was saying worry about this week's game. Why dont u tak your own advice and stop talkin about pasadena in week 5 there, guy.

LSU

According to the Rant if we Mett loses this game he loses OUR opportunity to win a Heisman.

It never becomes a "must win" for Alabama until they have already lost a game.

I'm glad that Richt has y'all keeping your expectations to a reasonable level in Athens.

Good to know SEC East titles are all you care about.

Georgia has already lost and another loss would take them out of the national title chase. A win puts them firmly in the driver's seat in the East and a likely 3rd trip to the SECCG.

Yes, Georgia can all but sew up the SEC East with a win on Saturday. This is one of only two games they have left to play and they only have to win one of them. No way is Florida going 7-1 in the SEC, so if UGA beats LSU, they could lose to UF and still be in good shape at 7-1 and, at worst, tied with USC, over whom they hold the tiebreaker. The SEC East race is pretty much over if Georgia wins Saturday.

I read everything. But why even mention the drivers seat of the east in comments about a matchup between east/west ? Seems kind of pointless.

The only thing relevant u said about UGA in that was we gotta win for our NC chances. which doesnt take a 4 year degree to be aware of.

I'd be shocked if you were out of diapers when Jim Kelly was leading the Bills to 4 straight Super Bowl losses.

Because inter-divisional games count in the standings, too. If UGA beats LSU, the East race is over. Their only other game left to play is Florida and they could forfeit that and would still win the division.

I know this isn't exactly what you're arguing but I have to ask, you do know that west/east matchups effect SEC standings right? Your game against LSU means the same as a game against Kentucky or Tennessee.

That's assuming Florida loses two conference games.

I don't see Florida beating Georgia again this year.

OBVIOUSLY they affect conference standings. losing to a west team does not affect u going to atlanta like losing within your division does..

There is so much dumb in his statement.

Please tell me Georgia didn't give you a diploma.
