Smitty is extremely deserving of that ring. He’s a good young man who works very hard. Happy for him.
It’s also kind of sad to see certain posters come into this thread and hate on him. By all accounts he has done everything the right way and he earned all of the accolades he has to his name, including his Super Bowl ring.

Nothing posted by LSU fans in this thread has proven that Chase is that over Smith.
Chase's Awards:

1st Team All-SEC
CFP National Champion
Leading WRs from 2019:
Player Team Receptions Yards TDs Yards/Rec
Ja'Marr Chase LSU 84 1,780 20 21.2
Justin Jefferson LSU 111 1,540 18 13.9
CeeDee Lamb Oklahoma 62 1,327 14 21.4
DeVonta Smith Alabama 68 1,256 14 18.5

Chase could have won the Heisman in 2019 except Burrow had the greatest single-season by a college QB ever and took the other awards.
Heisman
Maxwell
AP Player of the Year
SEC Offensive Player of the Year

Chase had a great season in 2019. Smith just had a better one in 2020. He recorded more yards and touchdowns in fewer games. As a result, he received more hardware.

I’d want to forget that season ever happened, too, if my team got their arse kicked at home like that. Stingley is still wiping Smith’s semen from his jersey five years later.

Not saying DA isn’t great. I watched him in high school but 2020 was barely a season that can be registered. Half rosters and quarantined players. It will never be as legit as any other season.

Why don’t you ask DeVonta Smith if 2020 was a real season. Had he come out for the draft after 2019, he would have been a second round pick at best. Because of his performance in the 2020 season he not only went in the first round but went in the Top 10.

You say this because LSU went 5-5.

Not a real season. Depleted defenses, covid precautions taking away everything from practice and film time to attendance and press.
Is there anyone who can honestly tell me 2020 was a fully competitive season?

No. LSU fell apart. Massive losses to the NFL and COVID opt outs and O was too worried about stabbing travel ball moms.
Props to Saban for doing the best job of keeping his players focused and committed but that’s all it was. And they played 2 less games than the original schedule.

I mean this is a well worded statement because it’s definitively true.

Weren't all under the same constraints and facing the same issues? Sounds fairly competitive.
The season happened. Games were played. Records were set.
Do you honestly think Bama isn't the 2020 NC if not for Covid?

Very impressive resume but still not talented enough to be one of the top 2 receivers in the NFL. That award goes to Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson. Don’t forget LSU is WRU

That's all fine and dandy. However, the title of this thread is "most decorated" receiver, not "best" receiver. So the "very impressive resume" was kind of the point.

Alabama receivers have put up more combined yardage in the NFL over the past 15 years than LSU receivers. So no, they are not WRU.
