The more and more I think about it.......

I have a feeling that Alabama is going to lose one of the next two weeks.
South Carolina will give us tons of problems on the offensive front. I can see us struggling on offense and the 80,000 coaches in the stands getting pissy.
USC has big play ability. In the kicking game and with a couple of wide receivers.
Tennessee will have two weeks to prepare for an offense that Monte Kiffin has been planning against for years and years.
Just a feeling that's all I'm saying.

Bama will beat UT. Look what Auburn's D did to them. the worry should be on the South Carolina game just because they have a better D than UT.

I think SC gives us more trouble than UT.

Could happen. Might be Saban's 2003 Florida game.

Hopefully you also see the maw of hell opening before you on November 7th.

Agreed, I can see Alabama having a tough time with USC (assuming Garcia doesn't pull a Jevan Snead) but I think Bama rolls over Tennessee.

I don't know about that. Offense, maybe. But the UT defense didn't allow UGA anywhere near the redzone all game. USCe gave up 40+ points to them...
Auburn had a lot of yards against UT...but only 2 TDs. Same for UF...

To be exact, UT's defense didn't allow UGA past the 34yd line.

It's very possible, coming up on week 7 and 8 without rest takes a toll and both have stout defenses.
Having said that, I also like our chances to get through the next two with wins. Our closest game so far has been Va Tech and a 10 point win. Since then we've won games by differences of:
26 difference, points given up - 14
46 difference, points given up - 7
29 difference, points given up - 7
18 difference, points given up - 20
19 difference, points given up - 3
they've gotta score on us to beat us and I don't see a whole lot of points coming from them

Bama will not lose on one or two big plays. The only way this team loses is if a team is able to run the ball and control the clock, forcing the passing game.
That's how Bama wins so convincingly. No one is going to run consistently on the defense, and the pressure is going to force mistakes in the passing game...it's inevitable. I'm not talking about INTs all the time, just mistakes that will cause punts.
If we are able to move the ball a little, the game is over quickly.

And USCe and Tenn aren't exactly offensive juggernauts...

My biggest concern in this one, is Monte having an extra week to scheme against us defensively. Gotta feeling this will be a low scoring game. Won't be able to manhandle your defense like we have some others earlier in the season.

Probably just gas.

That's the one thing that will not make the game a blow out, IMO. Bama runs a familiar offense to UGA's. It will be a slug fest, but UT is going to have a tougher time scoring on Bama than they did UF. 17-3, 23-9, 20-6 sounds about right.

Bama's offense is more similar to what UT runs and what is run in the NFL, i.e. right up Monte's alley.

I'd say that's about right, just depends on turn overs and kick coverage.

USC gave up 308 yards to Georgia -- 61 on a reverse. UGA scored a lot of points because our kickoff coverage was awful. They scored on a KO return and had a short field much of the game. 34 offensive points is a lot for only 308 yards.
UTe gave up 241 yards to Georgia -- pretty much the same except for the reverse. Tennessee prevented any big plays, unlike Carolina where Georgia scored on several.
Hard to say whether USC or UTe has the better defense. Problem for the Cocks is youth and lack of depth. The defense wore down against Kentucky. We have to keep our defense off the field, as wearing down the other side is Alabama's whole game plan.

But UT's offense (most of the time) is similar to what the K.C Chiefs run..and that involves several 3 and outs against good defenses...right up Saban's alley.
