I don't think anyone is butthurt over Springdale beating the shite out of local high school teams. If anything, they thought it was cool an Arkansas team had so much national attention.
It was hilarious to watch Damian Williams run circles around all of the future fraternity boy cornerbacks.
They were also over hyped. The "5" had one real elite player and that was Williams.

Certainly someone to keep an eye on down the road... could end up a head coach some day.
Gonna be interesting to see what happens.

Damn sure wasn't Tejada.
Too bad the Charleston kicker had citizenship problems, we could have used him to replace Jeremy Davis in 2006.

"You know what, that year gave me a chance to get into college football and I learned a lot about myself and I learned about college football," Malzahn said last week. "It helped me along the way."
You're damn right 'it gave you a chance to get into college football.'
Putting HDN aside, who was probably forced to hire him, Malzhan has never really seemed all that appreciative or thankful that he got to pass 'stop' and not have to pay his dues before getting a bigtime SEC assistant coaching job, straight from the high school ranks. That doesn't happen every day.

Only if you have an athlete on your HS team deemed worthy of giving you a job to get them.
Freeze, Malzahn, besides having this in common, both run mickey mouse high school offenses.

Dear Houston,
Putting aside the fact that you sold me a false bill of goods, and made my life hell, I'd like to thank you anyways for the opportunity.
Sincerely,
Gus

Always the victim with Auburn fans.

Yeah.
Some of our fans are just fricking embarrassing about Gus in that thing.
Gus was ungrateful?
Mustain acted immature?
MOTHERfrickERS THEY WERE DEALING WITH HOUSTON DALE NUTT AND THE LESBIAN CHARACTER ASSASSIN AND A SENILE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR WHO LET NUTT DO WHATEVER THE frick HE WANTED TO DO.
Our assistant coaches were literally leaking information to a fat dyke who was then emailing players as a creepy stalker.
Every response from Gus and Mustain has to be viewed in that context. frick. I give up.
Ok. I can't read any more about this topic.
It just reminds me, again, for the 9000000th time why I hate Houston Nutt.
He's not a good human being. frick him and frick his whole greasy-assed family.
As far as I'm concerned, Gus and Mustain combined for about 10% of the responsibility in that clusterfrick, if even that much.

You are a total tool. Any Arky fan that thinks HDN did not drive that team into the ground is an idiot. Malzahn has had a top offense everywhere he has been in college. Google it dipshit. Only time will tell if Bulimic is better than Gus as a headcoach. The guy (GM) has never been on record speaking poorly of Arky or that idiot Nutt. He waqs paid to do a job, did it and then left bc of a bad relationship with his boss. Period. He did what he was paid to do, obviously had a problem with his boss, and left. Wouldn't you do the same?

Truth be told, Gus was paid to get his high school players on the team which I have a hard time believing he didn't know when he walked thru the doors on his first day.
As far as blame % IMO - Mustain 5%, Malzahn 25%, Nutt 70%.

Because Bert is so unproven with only 1 year of HC experience in the sunbelt.

If Bert needs to replace Chaney as OC, I'm sure he will give him a chance to submit a resume.

Gus leaking things to Mike Irwin is what made HiV hours of entertainment to read.
Mustain's equipment problems, from the wrong sleeves on his jersey, to him prodding out on the field in his own pair of Nike's because he didn't like any of the pairs of Adidas' bought by the school.
The report of how Nutt acted when "The year of the dog" hit bookshelves, like Nutt has actually read a book in his life, but he read this one and was out for Mitch and Gus because Mitch called him a dork while in HS after the "Did you see that Chuck? That was a called play, and I called it, I called that play, Brother" after beating Ole Miss.
What's really amusing is knowing Gus started politicing for the HC job before the Carolina game that year, to knowing Long gave him a courtesy interview when Nutt was fired, to not granting an interview request this time around...

I think it was a combination of arrogance from Gus, Mustain, and HDN.
I can understand with the backfield they had not putting it all on Mitch's shoulders and running an entirely new offense just because of a highly rated freshman QB.
I can understand Gus and Mustain getting upset if they were promised they could run that offense. Gus and Mustain thought they were the shite just because of a good run in HS..HDN was a terrible leader and couldn't unite everyone under his vision and properly implement the talent he had.
A coach like Saban would have taken the talent on that team to a NC easily. Established running game to open up the pass but nothing too fancy...would have made Mustain a game manager like McCarron who just got the job done when it needed to be.

Who has time for commas and punctuation when you're filled with so much hate? Not I for one.
