I am not sure what your point is? But Gravity and the shape of the earth were proven scientifically and neither were biblical statements but please dont confuse white superiority with anything in the Bible. That is not a Christian principle at all and never has been
My point was that neither Gravity nor the shape of the earth have been proven to be 100% factual. They are no more factual than Evolution. They are all theories. If scientific theories are not held in higher esteem educationally, than things that have significantly less evidence. Then the white race being superior to other races is just as valid as racial equality.

Yes I do, but again I am not trying to force my beliefs, I just didnt think that offering a second theory on the origins of life in the LA school systems made us backwoods as another poster had suggested. I understand my beliefs are subjective and i have never ever preached to anyone on here as I have too many flaws.

Dude, the shape of the Earth is 100%. Now it is a theory that the earth revolves around the sun and the workings of gravity are a theory, though we do know that exists.
I personally like to use the example of the germ theory here. I mean, I'm sure he believes germs get us sick.

bama fans don't believe in germs

It does. ID isn't science. Evolution is. ID has no place in a science classroom, because it isn't science. By trying to put it in science classrooms, we're showing that we like to pick and choose our science and lead our kids to think the two are on equal footing. It's religiously motivated, and it's crap.

i agree. It has no place in the science class room. I went to private school and even the teachers there agreed that it doesn't belong in science

Funny how labamafan hasn't responded to me yet.

LSU fans are the football equivalent of Mexican soccer fans.

Where is the science in the big bang? What evidence shows a conglomeration of all that exists in the universe as once being in a miniscule subatomic particle?

I admit the piss ballons are internet legend as far as I know but in 01 I think it was we played LSU at 8 pm. One of the coldest nights I have ever felt in Louisiana. The crowd had all day to get loaded. On the way in the stadium about a 70 year old UA fan had on a UA hat and this loaded street corndog fan said " Nice effing hat" and dumped a big gulp cup full of what was probably bourbon and coke on his head. It was maddness after that but plenty of regular LSU fans jumped on the guy as well as UA fans.

It's there, it's just really abstract and hard to explain. Basically I'd say imagine a balloon. Now imagine it's slowly filled with air. The point where the inflation starts is the big bang. It expands out and cools. Viola!
There are a lot of sketchy elements to it though. I was taught it is at best, just the best idea we have right now to explain the origin of the Universe. I'm not nearly as well versed on it as I am with evolution. I wish I could explain it better. Check out this website though.

I have been to every SEC school for a game. Every single school has their share of classy fans and downright horrible fans. For example, at Tuscaloosa two years ago some very nice bama fans smiled and welcomed us LSU fans to T-Town in the stands of Bryant-Denny. They stood and shook our hands and we engaged in some friendly trash talk. During the same game, a truly ignorant redneck bama fan, with tobacco spit running down his chin, threatened to shoot one of us in the head with his double-barreled shotgun that he said he kept in his truck. Same story goes for every other SEC school.

Think you are right. It was not only a night game but a 8 PM game. Cold. It was probably to cold to piss in a ballon that night.
