Wake me up when LSU beats a top 5 team again or wins another National Title.

LSU restored order.

I think you made your post a little too early. Auburn had 2 opportunities to cut LSU's lead to 7 points and make it a 35-28 ball game. Ultimately, LSU's defense prevailed, but your team has issues on the defensive side of the ball that need to be fixed. Coming into this game, Mett hadn't been sacked or intercepted right?

Auburn's offense can't hold a candle to Texas A&M's, yet they put up 400+ yards and 21 points against the Tigers' vaunted defense. Alabama is fortunate that they don't have to play LSU next weekend, and LSU is fortunate that they don't have to face Texas A&M next weekend. Unfortunately, Alabama and LSU both have to face respectable teams next weekend, and both teams may come away with a loss. It's too early to look into the future and make claims about who's the best team when many tough matchups lie ahead.

There isn't one dominant team and we have a losing record against the ACC, plus losses to the Big 12 and whatever conference Rutgers is in. What the frick happened to SEC
dominance?

Speak for your own program. LSU has looked beastly.

LSU isn't dominant either. Who have they beaten?

Everyone we've played and we haven't struggled to move the ball against a shite defense.

I agree. I admit 100% that this Bama team is not as good as I originally thought. They still have the potential to be great, but offense and defense need to both show up to games at the same time rather than taking alternating weeks off.

On the same token, LSU is NOT dominant either. Lol at people thinking that. There is no team that looks great in the SEC this year.

So LSU is dominant by beating an Auburn team that is starting a converted safety at QB coming off a 3 win season? At home?

It's better than struggling to move the ball against Colorado St.

I agree, more focus than scheme or technique, imo.

How many top 10 teams has LSU beaten on the road this year?

You mean that team that gave up 900 yards to rice and Sam Houston?

If LSU doesn't play 4 quarters we'll lose next week.

Are you retarded? The people in this thread have admitted on numerous occasions that Alabama is not currently as good as previously thought. So why the hell are you comparing LSU to us?

Seems to me every team in the conference has something to work out, and shouldn't be too worried about anyone else.

he said LSU wasn't dominate because we beat a depleted Auburn team.

All of you LSU fan on here talking a bunch of shite about how awesome LSU is should shut up and see how we do next week in Athens before declaring us world beaters.

We gave up a ton of yards to a shitty Auburn team tonight. I'm sure Aaron Murray will carve us up all night if we don't get some stuff figured out on D in a hurry.

It blows my mind how people can watch the same football game as I did and be completely oblivious to weaknesses.
I'm one of the biggest LSU homers around and even I have to admit we are definitely not dominant.

Thank You. To top it off, the ranters can make all the proclamations they want about LSU and Alabama, but they will be settled Sept. 28 and Nov. 9 so let's just wait and see. This season has raised the anxiety of the Rant, but it's not over yet.

Hell, just in the West I don't see much separating UA, LSU, OM and A&M. Marshall threw some beautiful long balls tonight and if he settles in and gets consistent AU might surprise.

Wins against TCU and UT and a loss against OK State

And even that one loss was to a team that has a legit shot at winning the conference against what appears thus far to be the bottom-feeder of the West. I really don't think that the conference as a whole is down just because Bama didn't blow out their inferior opponent.
