I think 2014 was an even bigger waste. Had a top 10 defense with 2 NFL RBs, Mackey Award winning TE, QB who is still in the NFL, biggest OL in college football, etc.

Only lost to Alabama by one point that year, blew out LSU and Ole Miss, close losses to A&M and State. Dominated Texas in the bowl game but that team should have done a lot better than 7-6 as well.

Yeah, you're right. 2014 was also an underachieving season after seeing what we were capable of after the OM and LSU games.

Brandon Allen wasn't quite there yet during the first half of the season.

I put Kody Walker's fumble in the Bama game up there with Reggie Fish's muffed punt.

Bielema had a series of epic choke jobs against A&M.

2014 - Blew a 14-point lead in the 4th quarter and lost in overtime

2015 - Gave up a touchdown and 2 point conversion with less than 2 minutes left and lost in overtime.

2016 - Tied at halftime with a chance to take the lead in the 3rd quarter and got stuffed on 4th and goal from the 2. Outscored 28-7 in the last 16 minutes of the game.

2017 - Gave up a 4th down conversion with 20 seconds left and a game-tying field goal. Lost in overtime.

Here's a fun fact: From the 2014 Arkansas game until he was fired in 2017, Kevin Sumlin went 26-22 (13-17)

Games like this seemed to be a common theme for Bielema. Moreso against A&M, but we were notorious for blowing big leads or losing in soul crushing fashion during the meat of his tenure here. We honestly weren't far off from being pretty good from 2014-16 if we had a few more things go our way but it just all fell apart toward the end for him.

LSU will lose to Pig, Aggy, Barn, and Bammer this year. They gonna be

I could actually see that. And that is with the caveat that Arkansas is not going to be great this year.

Am I saying LSU will be horrible? No. But if they lose a couple of high profile games I could see them going into a shell for the rest of the season. A good LSU team could easily lose 3 or 4 games this year.

Auburn and Bama back to back is not fun. Then you have Arkansas and A&M back to back to end the season. Sure, they have a better squad then Arkansas, but they barely got by us last year. If they've had the wind taken out of their sails they are in trouble down the home stretch.

Agree completely. Pretty ineffective and lazy troll, considering all the firepower he has at his disposal. Like, that's the season before last.

You should be grateful that LSU didn't get swept last weekend

That Hunchback in Starkvegas beat LSU 37-7 that year (2017).
