Fran's teams had moxie and explosiveness. They were badass, dominant, and fun. I don't care what anyone says or how it turned out in Aggieland

The Bryants were family friends. Mary Harmon gave it to my dad, who was a boy at the time.

An 18 year old student at the University of Alabama at that time would be 73 years old today, which would make him just a tad younger than SCRooster's kids.

I was at both games. Alabama outplayed OU both times.

Norman - Alabama was up 3-2, then OU went on a run to go up 23-3. Felt good. Bama storms back to a 27-23 lead. Renaldo Works for had a late 4th quarter run that gave OU life. And the rest was history.

2003 was early in the year as well so we had no idea how Alabama would turn out. Still the best football atmosphere I’ve ever experienced. Shulabama had a lot of potential.

'02 and '03. Bama was huge underdogs in both and kept it respectable. '02 in particular is one of our greatest moral victories ever

Reduced scholly teams.

2002 was the Tyler Watts drop the ball game in Norman and 2003 was the Stoops fake punt game in Tuscaloosa against might 4-9 Alabama

I was lucky enough to have nice end zone seats, and a great view of both fails.
