Worth getting fired over? Maybe if you are a marriage counselor or a preacher. . .but a football coach?

when the lie is about a woman you may have hired specifically b/c you were carrying on an affair with her?

yea, that is big enough to get shite canned over.

its just not worth the potential lawsuits that may be thrown at your business if the subordinate is ever fired while Petrino is still on staff.

plus, its pretty apparent his judgement is not to be trusted.

The boss chose to make it public.

no he didn't.

Petrino made the lie public when he got up at a press conference on Tuesday and claimed he was the only person involved in the wreck.

As soon as the police report was made public his lie was clear as day.

His man stock went up. She is pretty cute for that old turd. However, her stock just dropped to crack whore status.

Happens all the time.

Sure.

Taking an extra box of staples out of the supply closet may be big enough to get fired over, too.

The cost to the program for firing the best coach in Arky's SEC history would make the move beyond retarded.

If there's good news for Petrino, Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino survived an affair, so there's a precedent for this type of thing. However, Pitino never blatantly lied to his bosses or hired his mistress to work underneath him (yeah, that was on purpose). And there is a morals clause in Petrino's contract that allows Arkansas to fire him for cause.

quote:

If Petrino does stay Arkansas' coach, it's going to be difficult for him to earn the respect he once had. How can he go into a recruit's home and tell parents he can teach their son morals and make him a man. If his own wife can't trust him, how can parents? They can't and Arkansas football will suffer because of it if he stays.

Petrino's going nowhere. Now he's not gonna help matters any because he's not learned how to manipulate the media and work the system.

I've asked many times on Hog boards if Petrino's ego will end up costing him and us. I get roasted everytime, mods post my personal info, and all sorts of shite.

Our ego gets the best of us at times, this time Coach was tapping some pretty decent arse for a 53yr old, he hot dogged his bike and wrecked it.

Bobby Petrino's image of perfection

I find this quote a little surprising from ESPN…. “FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Bobby Petrino's image of perfection has come to a sudden and surprising end at Arkansas.”
Why is anyone surprised by this? He showed who he is when he slithered out of Atlanta. Once a liar always a liar. I still never understood how a parent would allow their kid to go play for him…. Oh well….

Well in Alabama or LSU this would have never came out and he probably thought it would not come out here.

Bobby Petrino is history as Houston Nutt was.

Time to find a new head coach.

Jimmy Johnson on speed dial?
