What will the loser of this game have to do to keep his job?
If Bert loses:
Ark will be 1-4 (0-2 in SEC) and still have to play:
@ Bama
Auburn
UT-Martin
@ Ole Miss
@ LSU
Miss. St.
Mizzou
I see 1 sure win (UT-Martin) and 2 tossups (Auburn, Mizzou). I think Bert has to win those 3, plus upset two of Bama, Ole Miss, LSU, or Miss. St. That would be a 6-6 bowl-eligible finish, giving Bert one more year. 5-7 or worse and he's gone.
If Butch loses:
UT will be 2-3 (0-2 in SEC) and still have to play:
UGA
@ Bama
@ UK
S. Car
N. Texas
@ Mizzou
Vandy
I see 1 sure win (N. Texas), 2 probable wins (S. Car and Vandy), and 2 tossups (@ UK and @ Mizzou). Butch needs to win all 5 to get to 7-5. This would be a 1-game reg season improvement over last year's 6-6, buying Butch one more year with what should be a loaded 2016 squad.

Bert will lose a good bit of remaining schedule, but I suspect the wins will come against some big boys.

Bert's buyout is like $18 million. We could lose the rest of our games and his job is safe.

Only way I see Butch not being back in 2016 and I'm not even convinced they wouldn't give him one more year even with this.

If he only has one more SEC win and loses to both Vandy and UK he'd be really really close to being canned also giving us our only 4-8 record ever.
I still think we will at worse go 7-5 and 4-4 in SEC which will be our best record since 09.
If we were a SR laden team that was sure to be worse in 2016 the stakes would be a lot higher.
He'll be in HOT water in 2016 though for sure with anything under 8-4.
