No, they fired a guy who through stubbornness has prevented the program from moving forward. Gus proved a coach could take the program to a high level, but he always failed to take advantage of it. The PTB knew he would not change and they were tired of the roller coaster. Last year was the perfect time for a change.

AU returns 17 starters from a team that won 6 SEC games last year. Even with a dysfunctional coaching staff.

The game would be toss up, because literally no one was stopping those offenses. Who has the ball last is my guess!

Oh, ok. I stand corrected. The 2020 Bama team was worse than the 2019 team. The 2019 LSU team beats them by 3 TDs then. Thanks for clarifying that.
