I understand what you're saying here, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that you need to hurry (as players) and do soemthing. Instead of hurrying the frick up and running some type of play, they all looked stupid and Jefferson spiked the ball...
How the hell do you spike the ball as a QB with 1 second left?!

To be honest, I am torn. We will now have to hear how great Ole Miss is, and if they had done....blahblahblah

Let Ole Miss fans talk all they want to. We spanked that arse this year.

I actually won a game on a situation similar to this one time. The QB spiked the ball on 4th down. Usually it's called from the sideline. That should be even more disturbing to LSU fans.
I also saw a kid (my brother) pick a spike off one time. The QB bobbled the snap and my brother dove between the guard and center and the kid just threw it right to him.

Les has a conspiracy going against LSU, he's f'n LSU as hard as he can and will jet for Michigan after this year. It has been his plan since 2007 when he had to turn down the Michigan job...he didn't want to and was forced

From a coaching perspective, I have to believe that was possibly one of the most boneheaded endings to a game in the history of college football. Hell, two plays before JJ spiked it the kicking team should have been rearing to go. I've been a Les Miles defender but I'm still shaking my head over that last minute.
