All sprinters run faster times windy than their legal PR
Hell, a HS kid Reggie Robinson ran a 9,1 back in the day to tie the world record, yep windy.

No I don't.
You don't think his coaches at every level would have used him more if he was capable of doing more? And your reasoning is because other more talented players were used more? That's not really a compelling rebuttal
Like I've literally provided you with all the reasons why he wasn't ever much more than a return guy in college and nothing more than a return guy in the NFL. I provided you with his numbers and his scouting reports. I've provided you with insight as to the question you asked, yet you still want to argue about it because other players were better football players? I mean that's akin to me telling you why Trent Richardson sucked in the NFL and then you listing off a bunch of players who have similar measurables that were all-time great players.
Being good at football is more than just being fast

Rainey and Demps both could fly at Florida

Agreed
Carl lewis ran the fastest recorded time in college history in that same race (wind aided).

So he can catch all those kicks but can;t catch a flare pass, really?
Not talking a WR here, just a flare pass.
I think he should have played more when ya a guy that fast ya get him the ball. Common sense.

He had issues catching those as well. or did you just decide not to read the post where I said he was removed from punt catching duties in Denver due to muffing too many punts?

Common sense would dictate not keeping a 160 pound player on the roster who has ball security issues and can't do anything else on the football field but run fast. He couldn't run through tackles and didn't have great vision either. He just had the ability to outrun people if he found a crease. NFL teams don't often carry one-trick ponies like that.

Derrick Henry is fast for a 245 pounder but in with fast guys no not really.
So damned slow.
He'll never make the Pro Bowl, or lead the league in rushing, or break 2000 yards in a season, or be the NFL Offensive Player of the Year, or win the Heisman, or a National Championship, or...
Slow arse second rounder is clearly a scrub. Weird how obsessed people get with trying to prove he sucks.

Chris Rainey and Jeff Demps the fastest RB duo ever.
Bob Paremore and Bob Hayes second.

Cat had a fast 40 but as a trackster not much.

He returned over 130 NFL kicks, he can catch a kick.
When ya have a guy who scored 4 TD's in two seasons on returns, can be used as RB, ya work it out.
Not talking line pounding or WR, ok? Pitch out to a 10,00 sprinter, a stud punt returner, come on guy.

That made no sense.
Jim Brown the greatest ever was no speed demon, hell his running back was faster than he was.

So I guess you're going to dig your heels in that all his coaches in college and the NFL just didn't understand how easy it was to use him.
But here's a stat for you. Holliday, in 2014, had 14 fumbles or muffs on 81 returnable punts. That was worst in the NFL and an average of not catching/returning a punt cleanly every 6.7 punts. Those numbers also include touchbacks that were caught. But you think coaches were just too stupid to put him in as a running back to catch swing passes. Ok

He averaged over 6 yards a carry at LSU, in HS he was incredible. I can use a guy who is among the fastest humans on earth. Hell yes I get creative, get this guy out in space with ball in hand. The guy is a fantastic runner, you can't use that, huh?

I guess that's why there are so many olympic sprinters playing football

How many of the guys are in the NFL Hall of Fame?
None.
Henry is a lock.
Your stats are irrelevant.

High school career
Holliday went both ways at Northeast High, in Pride, Louisiana. Because of his short stature, Holliday did not start on the football team until his junior year. In his first season starting, he rushed for 1,870 yards and scored 26 touchdowns. In his senior year, Holliday put up even better statistics by rushing for 2,210 yards, scoring 34 touchdowns, and averaging 27.6 yards per punt return.[2]
Holliday was also a track runner in high school. In 2005, Holliday posted the nation’s fastest indoor time in the 55 and 60-meter dashes. He led his team into the 2A state title by winning the 100 meters and 200 meters and was second in the long jump.[3] Holliday was a four-time state champion in the 200 meters and a three-time 100 meters champion.
