The fact that they're ranked higher is one thing, but also 10 vs 4 is a pretty big difference.

this first poll is close to meaningless. i think ohio state was not even in the top ten in the first poll last year.

Now they do. Georgia was actually healthy when Alabama played them last month. By the end of October they were a shadow of their former selves.

And I don't know why you're getting so worked up. This is the first of many ballots to come. If Alabama beats LSU on Saturday it becomes obvious that they deserve their Top 4 ranking. If they lose to LSU on Saturday, Alabama is completely out of the picture for the rest of the season. Calm down.

You can't/won't beat Bama. Game would be a mismatch.

Oh ok...
They've went from formidable worthy opponent to chump in 3 weeks.
Lol, typical Alabama retard logic.

Ohio State was #15 in the first CFPP last year. There were also 3 SEC teams in the Top 4 and Alabama wasn't one of them (even though they ended up being the only SEC team to make it).

Without Nick Chubb? Yeah. See how quickly they collapsed in the Tennessee game without a running game? They were up 24-3 and ended up losing the game after Chubb went out. Can you imagine Alabama without Henry or LSU without Fournette?

Can't speak for you but LSU won't go from Hero to the zero without LF7

No. But they don't win the national title without him. The same thing goes for Alabama and Derrick Henry.

Nick Chubb was Georgia's offense. The threat of his running attack made Lambert look better than he was. When Alabama exposed Lambert for who he really was, and when Chubb went down against Tennessee, their offense completely collapsed in on itself.

And I still don't understand why you are mad about this. It's the first playoff poll. Ohio State was #15 in last year's first poll and they went on to win it all. Things will work themselves out over the course of the next four weeks. Calm your arse down.

The poll tonight is just reflecting the obvious fact that Florida is not the same team without Grier.

Chubb UGA > No Chubb UGA
Arkansas & A&M > Missouri & Kentucky
Wisconsin >>>>> New Mexico State (Finally won a game after losing 17 straight!) & East Carolina

Looking at Michigan State's spot, seems like the committee even took into effect how the outcomes of games happened. Beat Michigan by a colossal unforced error. Alabama theoretically losing by that bounce pass heave could be viewed in the same realm.

The fact that you can't see the committee once again is setting up upcoming matchups that'll demolish their previously released polls, is sad.
