IMO, the bowl games, particularly the big ones (Rose, Orange, Sugar) could stand a bit of humility. They exist to make a whole lot of money for a select group of old white guys. Don't even suggest the lion's share is being paid to the participants.

Would the bowls have any real case through litigation if we were to abandon them?

Also, all these people complaining about “small” stadiums like BYU/Indiana……you do realize even the worst stadiums in P4 are not much smaller than Hard Rock which only has like 65k seats……The CFP should be played in the best stadiums in the world in front of 100k plus like UM, OSU, UT, PSU, A&M, Bama, UGA, LSU, ND etc….not some crappy NFL stadium with zero history

Why was the 02 Miami OSU game played on a Friday? Then the next year LsU Oklahoma was on a Sunday. Every other NC i remember being played on a Monday.

Y’all? I’ve never been a GA resident.

Southern baws stick together on here but y’all don’t want nothing to do with Georgia when it comes to regional camaraderie?

With the higher seed playing at home.

Not all of them. Maybe the first round, but the last rounds should be regionally based at the same site each year. Screw the bowls. Make the process more accessible for the fans that have built college football. And quit playing on Monday night. That kills two work days for most people. Play it Saturday night. The NFL can get their games out of the way if they want.

The NFL playoffs aren't 7 game series and they are not played at a neutral field.

Teams earn this thing called home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Just trying to educate.

The super bowl is played on a neutral field.

The playoffs games are between 2 separate leagues which are broken up into even divisions among teams that play each other multiple times a year.

The original guy said that the playoffs other than the SB was not a neutral field.

Good grief.

Nevermind.

The NFL is 2 leagues, so they do not have open playoff games. The entire system is about playing into them and they play their division opponents multiple times a year. You can technically be like 6-10 and make the playoffs. The winners of those 2 leagues meet in the super bowl on a neutral field.

There are no rankings or anything like that, it's all played in. You will never see New England play the Dallas Cowboys in a playoff game. It can only happen in the Super Bowl.
