We have the worst defense in school history in year 3. We are showing no improvement in terms of results on the field, we have not won a single game that matters in 2 1/2 years. He is recruiting at a level that will not get it done.

I don't understand why you would want him to be the head coach here.

The doolander... And what if... It takes a special kind of retard to support Dooley if you have watched his first 32 games at the helm here. Just an absolute abortion of an effort in each and every capacity. Coaching, hiring, motivating, recruiting. You name it, he has fricking sucked at it. BUT HE IS A VFL. WHO CARES THAT HE IS 1-12 IN HIS LAST 13 SEC GAMES. BILL BELICHICK WOULD BE 2!1!1!1!1!!!!@#1!

Its not about supporting dooley.. Its about supporting the team. Its about supporting Tennessee vols football. Rather they win or lose. All im saying is there is football to be played and 9-4 is obtainable, support the team and not give up on them. If dooley can not get that done he AD will take care of that after the season. Everyone knows what dooley has/has not done. Its not hard to see. But these guys are still playing football, the season is not over, no need in giving up on the team

It is not attainable. Why would you believe beating the 13th ranked team in the country is attainable for a team coached by Derek Dooley?

No use arguing with someone who will not change their mind. If he wants to support a shite coach, let him

No, it isn't. I will support our team but that doesn't mean I have to support who coaches them

Has Dooley ever beaten a ranked team? At some point always beating the teams you should and always losing to the teams that are better than you isn't good enough.

That said....I hope he is in Knoxville for 30 years.

Then just pull for sc. Haha its simple. Its a football game, personally i wont lose any sleep over it either way. Im just not a fair weather fan to ride the wagon when things are good, and set it on fire when they are bad. Its just a game, and there are games still left to be played, and i have faith we can win any of them..if we lose one, then on to the next one. Dang some people act like this is life or death

It is life or death when the lack of revenues from our football games will destroy an athletic department already up to its eyeballs in debt from wait for it....lack of performance. But please, carry on being naive.

No, it is not life and death to me.. Will not effect me in any way. With that said im sure we will be bankrupt and not have a football team in 2 years

What are you talking about? Fairweather fan? How does expecting Tennessee to do better than Dooley make me a fairweather fan?

They are 3-4 right now with 5 regular season games remaining. Win all 5 and their record is 8-4. At 8-4 they will go to a bowl game. Win bowl game, record is 9-4 at seasons end.
Therefore it's attainable. Simple math actually. What's wrong with you?

Wasnt referring to you in general, or anyone else here. Like i said id love to have a gruden, or someone better than dooley. Im not praising dooley anywhere here. We all know his time is done, all im saying is we should all be standing behind our team and supporting them because there is alot of football to be played and something to salvage this season! Instead of bashing dooley 24-7, his job is over either way. He will be gone at the end of the yr reguardless! All i have said anywhere was we need to support the team!

I can agree with that. Nothing wrong with supporting the current players, but there is going to be chatter about Dooley's fate after each loss. Just comes with the territory.

None or us are saying to stop supporting the team, but we don't have to support the guy who is leading them

Yes there will always be talk, but the players are busting their butts out there win or lose. They need to know someone is behind them and give them reason to try harder. Im sure they dnt wana hear the negative talk every week and fire sooley talk every week. They know whats going on there. Just saying we should be behind the team

Understand that all the way.. All ive been saying is all the negative talk and chatter about that probably gives bad morale in locker room, at practice, and at games with the players. They know as well as dooley knows as well as every fan knows dooleys time is up.. They just need some poaitive reinforcement from the fans to keep pushing! This season doesnt have to be a waste

If UTenn can line-up a home run hire, then they should do it. Else, keeping Dooley (who is at least stable) would be better than hiring another one.
