Harris choked big time. No debating that. He sucked on the big stage. I'm not sure why anybody thought all of a sudden he was going to magically gain the ability to short ball and go through progressions.
Scheming run every single down is selling out.

Define how it is scheming run without pulling both safeties up?

That's not what he does.

You clearly haven't watched lsu much this year if you think he is throwing things up for grabs. It happened once against Florida.

AJ as in Jennings. version 2015,
Holy shite you're dumb.
Harris has a far higher qb rating ( 5th in the sec)
Harris has a far higher completion %
Harris has a far better td/int ratio.(10tds/1int)
If you can't see that Harris is far better than Jennings, your opinions on cfb should be ignored.

Safeties and corners contributed for tackles for loss. Bama jumped all over the snap count all night. 13 of 19 carries Fournette was met by at least 2 defenders at or behind the line of scrimmage. That is the most telling stat. Bama fans are tearing down LF instead of acknowledging their great performance.
NO. We are tearing him down AND fapping about the performance. Get it right.

I agree, Harris has a skillset that I actually wish Coker had. He can hit receivers on a rope when they're open downfield.
However, Harris lacks the ability to move the chains in short yardage situations. He needs 3-4 seconds in the pocket without pressure. When he makes the quick throws, they're misses more often than not. The perfect example is the interception in the first play in the second half.

Except they didn't "sell out". They won the individual battles. I don't even think it was because of some great scheme Kirby and Saban concocted. Bama won tge individual battles pretty much across the board on both sides of the ball and on special teams.

Because all he throws are go routes.

Henry is rushing for 173.6 yards per game (868 yards) against ranked teams, with all five games over 125 yards and two over 200 yards (236 at A&M; 210 vs. LSU). He has 132 carries against ranked teams for a 6.6 yards per carry average and 10 touchdowns
How's LF against ranked teams so far? Just curious.

Agreed and that's what's so strange. 99% of the time young qbs can make the short and intermediate throws but need a year or 2 to get their deep ball as good as Harris' deep ball. With Harris it's the other way around. On shorts throws he is really inconsistent.

Probably a good bit less than Henry because he isn't as good. Amirite?

Henry has played 2 ranked teams. Surely you're not counting ranked teams when you played them.

The safeties have nothing to do with it. There was a run blitz called almost every down that wasn't an obvious passing down. There was a stunt on the inside and the ends were playing contain and nothing was happening past the heel line. You don't run that when the tight end or quick slant are any kind of threat. There's a reason Fournette was so open in the middle of the field 5 yards deep twice.

LF has 598 yards vs 4 teams that were ranked at the time of the game (MSU, Auburn, Florida, Alabama). 97 carries for 6.14 ypc and 149.5 ypg.

I mean I don't think anyone is saying fournette sucks, it's just that he's not a big game player, certainly not on the level of someone like Henry for example in that regard. not at this point in his career anyway.

You can count either measure, either ranked when played or ranked currently and Henry is averaging more yards per carry and a better yards/game with more TDs.

The teams that we beat at the time that were ranked aren't ranked anymore because we shite all over them and made them quit.

Scary Thought: Bama Did Nothing Special to Stop Fournette
Some of you just need to accept that LF didn't have a good game. He didn't do as horrible as his numbers indicated but he's wasn't great that night. He's still an excellent back.

I went with current ranked teams in the new thread. Feel free to have a look Rick.

He is using ranked teams that were ranked when they played them.
Henry has ran against 2 teams that are currently ranked
