If Covid didn’t effect the playoffs last year when it was highly politicized it’s not going to this year when most people no longer give a frick.

Incredibly frustrating to me that the same people who are screaming about vaccines are the ones now catching and transmitting covid while also demanding that we cancel sporting events. arse clowns, the whole lot of them.

Pureblood here. Still haven’t caught covid for the first time, or if I did i had no symptoms. When all the vaxxed die off it will be up to me to spread my seed and superior genes to repopulate the world

This could get dicey- it is rapidly running through the nfl - this must be a concern of the coaches of the four teams. Didn’t OSU have a player or two out last year?

Stop the ridiculous testing...problem solved!

Lol, Bama still trying to validate the 2020* season. 7-win Ohio State was without 13! players due to the global pandemic.

GA and BAMA could be affected the most since their players, a lot of them, are from states that are seeing an increase in cases.

Depends on the protocols they insist on. If you want to continue to operate on last season's protocols it's going to be a huge problem in the NFL. The NBA is now negotiating with the Player's Union to stop treating the isolation period with positive tests with the same remedy.

The NCAA recommends not testing fully-vaccinated players and coaches unless they are symptomatic. Meanwhile, unvaccinated individuals would be tested three times a week. If at least 5% of a team tests positive, all symptomatic people and close contacts will need to be tested.

So far I would say that college basketball teams have run into covid problems more frequently than football. Could change as fast as these positive tests are popping up.

I agree. There has been a severe uptick in cases around all sports. So far, as far as we know, college football seems to be escaping the spread.

The best thing that could happen is a couple Bama players get it…. Nick raises hell and gets the policy changed.

Saban could be the new Dr. Fauci - in a good way.

Here is the link that causes us concern - Saban is on top of it. But it will affect at least one of the teams.

College Football will cancel games. Because this is how they get your attention.

They are denying you their services. It's a strike, of sorts. Because they assume - and they may be right - that those who pay the bills simply can't live without their services.

I can live without their services.
