I’m just glad we had something to watch and enjoy in Omaha.

Bingo. DVH better take them and team their arse and make them watch all the dumb shite they swung at today.

Watching that made up for the LSU loss. 19 k's and a no no. Greatness.

Until halfway through this game, I was glad I couldn't make the trip. This one game would've made it worth it. to those that are there.

Hopefully, this will wake up the rest of the team and get the offense going. Pitching has definitely shown up even in the LSU loss. Wood just helped our bullpen and season.

Wood single-handedly saved important arms today for Arkansas. Just need the offense to feed off that

At least after we get sent home by LSU, we'll have that no no to celebrate

Not gonna happen. I think this is the flame that lights the fire. We lost a NC in grand fashion, now it's time to win one with this epic performance as the catalyst.

That's the kind of effort that should light a fire under everyone else's arse. Dude just pitched the greatest game in the modern era of college baseball. Time for everyone else to man the f#$k up.

Completely agree, it was a heroic effort on his part.

Not to be the Debbie downer, but our bats going cold worries me. Without an all-time great performance from Wood, 3 runs wouldn't have beat Murray St in any other post season game. They're averaging 10.

Hopefully this gets the other guys fired up, I think their AB confidence has been shaken a bit

They switched to small ball and that was a smart move.

Absolutely unbelievable performance by Gage Wood. I mean, I’m 30 years old and I’ll probably never see any college player do that again in my life, much less one for my team.

Small town Arkansas kid, too. Grew up loving the hogs his whole life. And his whole demeanor after the game in post-game interviews and stuff was incredible too. Very deferential to his buddy on Murray State and the rest of his Hog teammates.

Also, yes, the bats weren’t clutch today but we did show up better than Saturday. 10 hits in total isn’t a bad day at the office. Aloy had another that he absolutely smoked right at the SS that would’ve scored a couple more runs. And hey, I get it. That’s baseball. But the same line drive outs and lack of clutch hitting today turns into line drive doubles and clutch hits tomorrow. Just happy to see us pick up 10 hits today. Hopefully we can carry the momentum from today (offensively but especially from Gage’s performance) into tomorrow night.

just checked the forecast, nothing much until tomorrow when some delays could be an issue.
Hopefully mother nature cooperates and tonight and tomorrow's games get in without screwing up the schedules.

I really don't want lightning to interrupt Anthony's start
