My only thing was he started to have that elbow high in his movement and then kind of brought it down when he didn’t have to and it looked like he brought it down to make sure it clipped him.
They made the same call earlier in the week that was just as controversial but they stayed consistent.

You never how guy turns out as a pro. If you give someone a National Championship shut out game, that’s something he’ll remember for the rest of his life.

The refs should have used common sense. If its a 3-2 pitch, and inside far enough to hit him, why in the hell would he not just take the walk?
