No, the answer isn't that simple. Comparing the schools within the universities would be a better comparison. We are talking specifically about different fields of study by major.
I may be wrong but I would bet that the acceptance rate and criteria and quality of student is higher at UGA than any of the schools you mentioned Rankings, studies, typically show this.

You're a fool (or don't live in Atlanta) if you think Tech doesn't have sidewalk fans. I know plenty of them. They grew up in Atlanta and consider Tech the hometown college football team all while hating on Athens and Georgia but never went to any college.

Im half of 90 and have 2 degrees from UGA and I disagree with you. Because of Spurrier I'd say the fury and hatred toward Florida was comparable for a time, but IMHO Tech and the instate rivalry is a whole other level of hate. Let Tech run off a couple of wins against UGA and see what happens. JMHO

I've been a Georgia fan since 1977 and Florida, Auburn, and Tennessee are ahead of Tech on the rivalry scale.

Yep, in fact, with the changing of college football in to mercenary semi-pro football for pay. The sidewalk fans for every school will largely outnumber the alums from the school in a matter of a short period. The guys making money off of this are betting on it. Way more earning potential, see the NFL.

I mean, I can absolutely agree according to the year, I'd say they are all comparable as a fan. As an institution and program, we have to beat Ga Tech. If you ever get a chance to talk with Kirby, ask him yourself what his take on it is.

When I thought we would lose last night, the first image in my head was Tech players cutting up and taking pieces of our hedges which is their custom whenever they win in Athens. I was infuriated just thinking about it. I'm happy younger fans in recent years have never had to experience that.
And you're right about Key. Even Kirby in his presser said that a healthy rivalry with Tech is good for the state, I just want to win it.

You nailed it. Georgia fans can be drunk and obnoxious and embarrassing. Tech has been mired in college football irrelevance since their split title 30 years ago, and yet their fans behave like they belong in the conversation. They're the bratty kid making a mess at the adult table.
Brent Key might...might bring them back to relevance. Right now they're Mayo Bowl level with fans that talk like they're top tier.
