I don't know why Baton Rouge has never tried to get a bowl game, they have a premier college venue, and there's entertainment and good restaurants.I doubt they have any luck now, nobody wants to chance getting shot to watch a bowl game.

B/c goin to Shreveport in December sucks enough. Louisiana bowls should be in NOLA or GTFO.

Cities like Mobile, Birmingham, Detroit, Orlando, Memphis have bowl games already and are very ghetto or have the stadium in the ghetto so what's your point?

I'm still failing to see how Baton Rouge stands out in terms of murder among most other US cities. Hell, there are worse cities that are actually bowl venues.

Guess you have never seen the giant billboard on 1-12 saying Baton Rouge murder rate higher than chicago?
Baton Rouge just isn't that much of a destination spot like most the other bowls are. Key word most, cause we all know there are some shitty bowls out there.
