The case for Bob Stoops

Would be a HomeRun hire for UF....
1. He's still young enough at 61
2. Has ties to UF under Spurrier
3. Has ties to state of Florida for recruiting purposes
4. Won a Natty at UF and Oklahoma
5. As HC at OU his teams won 10 or more games in 14 of 18 seasons.
6. Out of football for the last 3 years to "recharge" his batteries.

So you would rather UF hire another shitty coach like he last 3 "M" coaches; Muschamp, McElwain or Mullen. Dude Stoops would be an incredible hire on par with Spurrier and Meyer....

Ever wonder why Stoops abruptly left OU with a Heisman contender at QB and a really good team?
He was about to be a "Me Too" target - and it would have been well deserved.
All coaches have to deal with players who screw up. It happens everywhere. But, Bob Stoops has a looooooooooong and proven history of bringing in freshmen and transfers AFTER they violently assaulted women, and keeping players AFTER they violently assaulted women. It isn't just 1, 3 or 5 guys. It is a bunch.
Stoops is an excellent coach but he is a scumbag who makes Art Briles look like Jesus.
He was about to be a "Me Too" target - and it would have been well deserved.
