I'm not sure a smallish QB from HS comes in and takes over from Mac Jones. Not saying Mac is great but clearly has 3 years experience over a fresh.

Isn't Drew Brees short too and he did ok. Short QBs can work, just gotta scheme correctly and have them adjust to the monsters that are tall on the OLine.

How do you know what he weighs? I've seen his stats as 5'11" and 182lbs or something. So let's say he's 5'9" and 170lbs?
I think the Saints list Drew Brees as 6ft tall and that's fricking comical.

Brees is one of the shortest NFL QBs ever and he still has 3" on Bryce.

I have watched him live in HS. Seems more of a guy that slowly develops and plays his JR/SR year.
