The answer to that is apparently no.
I am obligated to point out that the pat down was meant to copy an MMA pat down, so it’s logical to me that Miller would have never correlated the two. Especially since he was never patted down by police.
Still, pretty unfortunate that nobody else on the team or support staff said “hey, maybe not.”

When your players have been involved in the murder of another person, the last thing you do is let them replicate a police “pat down” at the player’s entrance.
Oates is full of shite that he didn’t know this was going on. What about Byrnes, you are telling me the Bama AD hasn’t attended any games and seen this happen pregame?
Once that shooting happened, they should have put a stop to it.

I think coach or AD should had stepped in before game introduction and told kid don’t do this shite again because of ongoing situation,
