The biggest playoff winner so far is Charlie Weis Jr

He has always been held back by the assumption that it is really Lane’s offense. Hard to argue that after putting up 78 in 2 playoff games though.
I think he’ll get a G5 HC sooner rather than later especially if he has a good game plan for a top 5 Miami defense.

Yep, Lane going to need to truly rebuild soon, all good though.

Good coordinators are always going to be moving up. Just the cost of doing business.

We may lose Weiss and Baker after 2026. Baker already turned down a G5 HC job.

After Sloan anyone will be welcomed.

I would say its Trinidad Chambliss
Charlie didnt throw a pass. When Chambliss improvised, he was at his best
tip of the cap to the kid and all the Ole Miss fans!

That one drive where he did the underhanded back handed throw to the RB on the sideline and then dropped back 35 yards to the goal line to scramble away from the rush is not something many can get away with. He was phenomenal.

Which makes you wonder why he will return to coaching with Kiffin. Maybe he is just lazy.

quote:His daddy was an excellent coordinator but failed miserably as a head coach. Maybe that's in the back of his mind and there is a reason coordinators are lifelong coordinators. Plenty of coordinators fail as Head Coach. Make a couple million a year at LSU as a coordinator or a couple of million a year at a mid major. You make the decision.
