Bama is gonna have plenty of MOTIVATION going into the spring and the 2011 season. Saban will be able to use this all of 2011 to get their mindset back on Winning and playing a FULL 60 minutes!
Looking back on the end of the 2009 season I was crushed losing to Florida and Utah but I think those losses helped out a lot with how hard the team worked for the 2010 season. We all remember how the 2010 season ended for us! So this might just be a good thing for Bama after all. RTR

I think Auburn winning the championship hurts Georgia fans more than it hurts Bama fans.

Odd name. Alabama's defense in '83 was terrible. 3 or 4 teams threw scoring passes on the first play of the game.

If you needed extra motivation, something is wrong

Funny. Y'all never seem to get motivated on your own. Always takes getting your butts kicked and humiliated on national t.v. You'd think y'all would have learned by now.

They are college athletes. The more Motivation the better in my opinion. Athletes can get pretty complacent after they reach success if you havent noticed. I mean that's a big reason you never see a repeat national champion. People get to complacent and dont wont to do the work it takes to stay on top.

LSU fans have NO room to talk about motivation problems.

Last time I checked LSU players all had t shirts printed and had the 'Bama script A on them.

Everyone uses what they can as motivation.

More Motivation = More work.

It's pretty simple. Wouldn't you be motivated to kick someone's arse if they kicked your arse first ?

Motivation is a part of the game. You have to have something to motivate you to play harder

Motivation that comes from inside >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Motivation that comes from something outside

Motivation is motivation. It doesn't matter where it comes from. If it works, who honestly gives a shite where it comes from.

Well, I hate to say it but 75% of the young athletes today dont have much motivation coming from within. Most are lazy and have terrible work ethics. Their aint many Tim Tebow's, Jacob Hester's,and Julio Jone's out there. Whatever motivation you can find I say you better use it!

Bama has the best record in the sec over the past 3 years, yet other fans have the balls to question our motivations or the way the players go about it?

I don't think this will happen to Auburn. With Gene only being in his 2nd year and everyone giving the credit to everyone but him I think he'll have a chip for a while. I don't look for a great season next year but 2012 should be the start of another good period.

Looking at the SEC..
Auburn
Bama
LSU
Arky
Florida
Georiga
???Maybe South Carolina????

That is ridiculously stacked!
Every single one of these teams have the ability to take it to the house given the right motivation IMO. The SEC just owns.
That is all, thank you, come again

Uh, yeah more than likely it will happen. It always happens now. Having a chip on your shoulder doesn't mean shite.
