A southern accent is more bearable than a New England one or Minnesotan one but general North American is the best one

Anyone who doesn't have northern Michigan as the worst has never been there. Although the permawhine of Jewish women from NY is a competitive second.

Go do some research for a few weeks in eastern Oklahoma in the backwoods and report back if you’re alive.

Brah, people in Arkansas don't all talk the same. Eastern Arkansas sounds like straight up Alabama to me.
Most of Arkansas and Oklahoma sounds like a small-town Texas accent to me.
The accent is "King of the Hill" meets Matthew McConaughey.

I'm pretty good with all the different accents of the South but the one thing that gets me is the small group of people who say "You'ins" instead of Y'all.
I've heard it here in SW Missouri and where my grandfather lived north of Knoxville, TN. so it definitely comes out of the hills.
Northerners say You Guys.
Hillbillies say You'ins.
Southerners say Y'all.
