The best "College Football Player" in SEC history Turned 20 a week or two ago

As many people appeared upset over my Reggie White thread, and me declaring him the "best football player in SEC history."
I feel it's necessary to honor the greatest college player in SEC history, as he also celebrated a birthday earlier this month.
First Freshman ever to win a Hesiman, shattering SEC records for total yards in a season (as a Freshman)
Reggie was great, but this is the SEC rant, and I feel like I can't ignore the greatest SEC player.

He may have been the first freshman to ever win the Heisman but Mark Ingram remains the youngest. Johnny Football had just turned 20. Ingram was still 19.

That was a down year for the SEC.

Jeremy Hill single handedly beat Johnny Football on October 20, 2012. Since Jeremy Hill beat the man he becomes the man.

About time someone brought some sense to the board. Fair, objective post.

Totally biased but not unreasonable opinion:
1. Herschel, duh
2. Bo Jackson
3. Cam Newton
4. Tim Tebow
5. maybe Manziel? but probably not. I mean he lost two games, which is a big deal for quarterbacks being titled "the greatest SEC football player"

Why is it only skill position guys make these kinds of lists? Derrick Thomas is arguably the greatest defensive player to ever play in this conference and yet the man gets no love. He recorded 27 sacks in 1988 alone.

I was just making a quick list. Derrick Thomas absolutely should be in the discussion. I just don't know who of the top 4 he would knock out.

Is your team so bad that you are now an A&M fan?
