How would they pull that off? Wouldnt that make 17 in the b1g? or would it be 16?
Is there a reason that the prevailing belief is that the expansion all stops at 16?
Once someone goes pods, I don't see the difference between 16 and 20.

No.
That's just my question.
If you think the answer is more expansion, then say so.
If all those schools go to the ACC, then why wouldnt NC State as well? Along with wake even

So here's the question:
How does the PAC 12 expand if the Big 12 picks up teams?

All can go pods only if Bama can select the 5 year intro - schedule into whatever league is created.
Bama wants / needs 20 championships in short order.
It is proven the Bama championships help whichever league it is in to get proper respect.

I DO NOT want NC State. They'd be just like Missouri, no offense.
Missouri is in a world of its own. NC State is at least in the South and close enough to drive to.

With who? There's nobody out here.

personally think UNC, UVA, and Duke are going to be in the same conference. I guess that leaves us with NC State and Virginia Tech
I don't see how that's not better than getting 2 colleges that are 10 miles apart from one another.

That's the point. The Big 12 staying alive removes all potential candidates for the PAC 12 out of current FBS schools.

Where's Clemson going? Following FSU to the Big 12? Staying in ACC?
Real question, which would you prefer?
For them to stay and rot in the burnt carcass of the ACC

If they want/need to have 16 I think they would have to consider
BYU - even though they didn't want the Mormons before
Nevada
UNLV
Boise St.
New Mexico
Hawaii

That was my original hope for kansas. This news is making that seem less likely.

There isn't a single school on this list that's even near the level of the shittiest Pac12 team minus the NW state schools.

I know.
There is no one left.

Would the hardcore left wing PAC 12 consider adding the USAFA?

I am sure UNC and DUKE or really from I hear UNC is doing the talking and DUKE is just going along is talking to the Big ten too. There only other option after the UVA announcement is made next week. If not the the SEC would not being talking to NC state too.

Duke still has the option of dropping football and going to the new Catholic bouncy hoops league
