Edwards is making a HUGE leap of faith thinking 75% of the voters will keep bama at #2 when Oregon plays USC and the Pac 12 championship and OU plays OSU.
Those are potential opinion / perception changers. Big leap of faith that the voters will stay the course with bama not having an opportunity to showcase much the rest of the season.

Arkansas is overrated. Why are they ahead of the 2 ACC teams? They got blown out in their loss and have beaten 1 team with a winning record in a depleted USCe.
This same Arkansas team has struggled to beat Ole Miss, Vandy, and Texas A&M teams that are all 5-5 or worse.
Arky is demanding a lot of undeserved love IMO.
