I can’t imagine how bad it sucks to be an aggie and pull for that athletic department

Yep. A lot of talk for a school no one cares about and a coach that has never coached a playoff game.

I responded to the wrong fricking post.

What do you want us to do, print cups?

Waiting for and enjoying another disaster does not equal “worried.”

I don’t understand why some of you post things like this. No one ever put the burden or expectation of perfect seasons on this hire. Being competitive and making a playoff is all any of us want.
The tards on this board keep posting unrealistic expectations.
Then they say LSU fans will melt when Lane doesn't meet those expectations.

50M in NIL puts the burden. Expectations are sky high with most LSU fans. All I hear about at work is how good LSU will be next year. Playoffs, etc
Perfect example of what I said above.

having a non-injured QB will help us greatly.
Well, maybe not the best start for this particular point.
9 wins in a vacuum sounds reasonable but considering LSU outspent everyone in NIL, going 8-4 and then winning the Texas bowl would not be considered a success. Lane doesn't build his teams for next year, he builds them for this year. I can promise that going 9-3 with the amount of money spent will not be considered successful to Lane much like it wasn't considered successful at Ole Miss in 2024. There are exceptions of course, like if there are rampant injuries but I don't see any reason why LSU should expect less than a playoff berth with this roster.

That seems like a high bar for a first year coach..takes a year at least to get flaws worked out the last staff made.

LSU fans started literally at least a hundred Lane Kiffin threads on this board that would've worked better on the LSU board in the months after Kiffin was hired.
After all that attention whoring, what do you expect?

damn it's almost like the SEC Rant is a part of the Tigerdroppings umbrella and there are way more LSU fans than any other type.

My brother in Jesus, there are many LSU fans on here who have been vocal in their opinion that Kiffin to LSU is a more important and consequential hire than Saban to Bama. Those are some pretty lofty expectations.

Why not use this numbers advantage to have the best team board on the site, as opposed to attention whoring on this one?

Maybe a troll or two. "Many" is absolutely false.
I doubt you could even link one.

No idea I can’t speak for all LSU fans lol

I just want the games to be fun to watch again. It's just football, it's not that serious.

I don't think this is true in the portal era.

Could I, if I felt like digging through posts from a few months ago? Absolutely. Am I going to waste my time doing it? Absolutely not. If you're going to pretend like LSU fans have been reasonable and non-hyperbolic in their gloating over the Kiffin hire, then by all means go right ahead.

Highly, highly doubtful. I'm here a lot and the type of posts you're describing haven't been prevalent.

I mean you've already proven to be delusional so I don't doubt you believe this.
